ALEX WALKER

Alex graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Macquarie University in Sydney. Previous to that degree she completed her undergraduate studies in Exercise and Sports Science in Melbourne. Before moving to Sydney, Alex worked with Carlton’s VFL side as a sports trainer and throughout her time in Sydney worked with various Rugby Union teams.

By combining her knowledge gained in physiotherapy and exercise science, Alex uses not only manual therapies but a combination of Clinical Exercise and core stability re-training as part of her treatment. This helps facilitate injury prevention and rehabilitation when treating her patients. Pilates

Alex completed her postgraduate qualifications in Pelvic floor and Continence Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2021 and is now treating clients in this area.

Alex has completed her certification in Dry Needling and uses this modality to treat a wide range of clinical presentations.

Alex takes an interest in running to help her stay fit, having completed the City to Surf a number of times. She also likes to take some time out to enjoy her own Pilates as she has found it improves her core strength and helps with injury prevention.
